An interesting book that we like a lot is Younger Next Year by Chris Crowley and Henry Lodge. It was introduced to us by our friend Jim Mitchell. I heard that he bought a box and distributed it to friends as gifts.

Boy who Fell from the Sky – First Major Jet Airliner Accident in US
AvWeb and the New York Times did a report on this very unusual accident near New York City 50 years ago today. Aviation is changed because of the accident, but I also enjoyed learning about the boy who was thrown free.
White Christmas 2010
A few pictures from the Sliwa Chalet in White Salmon, WA as we approach Christmas 2010. The fireplaces are lit (gas), holiday songs are playing thoughout the house from iTunes, and mother nature has cooperated with a light snowfall (at our elevation) so we can herald in a White Christmas.
